I share this testimony with many others, that
when we want to talk to God, we pray. But when we want Him to talk to us, we study
the scriptures.
“Adam fell that me might be…” (2Nephi 2:25) can
be defined as Adam partook of the forbidden fruit so that he could follow the
Lord’s commandment to multiply and replenish the earth. Because of the fall, man must die. (Genesis 3:19) Because “…in our bodies we shall see God.”
(2Nephi 9:4), the fall caused the need for resurrection and the atonement. I know that Jesus is the Christ, that he died for us, atoned for our sins and was resurrected. I testify that the Spirit has confirmed to me
the truth of this, in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Without the Fall there would have been no way for God's spirit children to come to earth to gain a physical body. There would have been no need for a Savior. The Lord's Plan of Salvation would not have come to be.
